What kind of phone number do I get?
Getting Started
- United States: New US numbers are real mobile numbers.
- Canada, the UK and the Netherlands: virtual long numbers (VLNs), dedicated phone numbers that receive SMS without a SIM card for you to install.
Both types forward incoming texts to your connected destinations.
Verification-code compatibility varies by service, country and number type. Check our service compatibility page before relying on a number for an important account.
