Which number should I choose?
One from the country the service is in. A UK service expects a +44 number, and a Dutch one a +31 number.
What kind of number do I get?
US numbers are real mobile numbers. Numbers in Canada, the UK and the Netherlands are virtual long numbers (VLNs). Neither needs a SIM card.
Do I need to be in my number’s country to receive texts?
No. Your number receives texts wherever you are, and they reach your apps over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Which countries can I get a number in?
