What security features does Tether Mobile offer?

Tether Mobile takes account security seriously. Here's what's available to protect your account:

| Recovery Codes | One-time backup codes provided when you enable 2FA, in case you lose access to your authenticator app. |
| Password Protection | Strong password requirements enforced on all accounts. Update your password anytime from the Security page. |
| Encryption | All data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Message text is deleted shortly after it reaches all your destinations. If a delivery fails, it's kept for retries and deleted within 7 days. In rare cases where we couldn't process a text, it's deleted within 30 days. |
| Session Security | Active sessions expire automatically. Manage sessions from your account settings. |
